The Roosevelt Roughriders posted their closest win yet this season on Sunday. They had just enough and edged Woodland Hills out 72-70. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Roosevelt.
Roosevelt's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamall Price, Jr., who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Sean Hall, who scored 13 points.
Roosevelt has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Woodland Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.
Roosevelt's road trip will continue as they head out to face Ballou at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. Hopefully Ballou focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Wednesday. As for Woodland Hills, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Penn Hills at 7:30 p.m.
