Avon has gone 9-1 against Geneseo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Braves will square off against the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. Avon will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
Two must be Avon's lucky number: they beat Le Roy with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Braves beat the Oatkan Knights by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1.

Jessie Crye spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Avon secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Abby Schutz, who went 1-for-2 with one run.
Geneseo never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Lima Christian on Monday. They never let the Saints get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. While the Blue Devils didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-7), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Abigail Radesi made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Radesi was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run. That run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Geneseo got a massive performance out of Paige Rossborough, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those RBI marked the first that Rossborough has brought in this season. Ganelli Rodriguez Tillett was another key player, going 2-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and one double.
Geneseo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Geneseo pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Avon, their record is now 7-0.
Everything went Avon's way against Geneseo in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Avon made off with a 7-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
