After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Metcalfe County, Fort Knox was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. Everything went their way against the Central Yellow Jackets as they made off with  a  14-4 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 Nia Aldana made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. Aldana was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in April.
 In other batting news, Fort Knox got a  massive  performance out of  Madisyn Schwemle, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI. That's the most  RBI  Schwemle has posted since back in May of 2024.  Layna Morgan was another key player,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
Fort Knox's victory bumped their record up to 5-20-1. As for Central, they now  have a losing record of 4-5.
 Coming up, Fort Knox will welcome Bardstown  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Central, they will head out to  take on Butler  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
