The Premier Prep- PHHoenix Fire suffered their biggest loss since January 4th on Tuesday. They were beaten by Learning Foundation & Performing Arts 76-45. While losing is never fun, Premier Prep- PHHoenix can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while Learning Foundation & Performing Arts is ranked ninth).
Amaree Davis was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with four steals for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Thaddeus Hawkins, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Premier Prep- PHHoenix has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.
Premier Prep- PHHoenix and Eduprize Open will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Eduprize Open has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 2,124 points over their last 25 contests. As for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, Learning Foundation & Performing Arts and Eduprize will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
