In what's become a running theme this season, the Trinity Trojans gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They blew past Independence 69-42 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Trinity has posted against Independence since February 1, 2021.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Trinity to victory, but perhaps none more so than Neva'eh Harrison, who scored 23 points along with four steals and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harrison has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of De'oshania Bennett, who scored nine points along with eight steals and seven rebounds.
Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Independence, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will square off against Lutheran West at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Independence, they will head out on the road to take on Fairview at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
