Machaon Puga Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Saturday, Prospect Ridge Academy got the W thanks in part to Machaon Puga playing the best football he has all season. Puga picked up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 130 yards.incredibly, Puga got all that yardage with just one huge grab

Dante Vigil and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Dante Vigil was instrumental in extending Forge Christian's winning streak to seven on Friday. Flatirons Academy had no answer to Vigil as he made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Carter Hogsett Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Saturday, Platte Canyon had to settle for second even though Carter Hogsett put up the best numbers he has all season. Hogsett rushed for 234 yards while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards.
This year, Hogsett has averaged 17.5 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 72.5 rushing yards.

Strange Made His Presence Known in Forge Christian's 42-0 Victory
Sullivan Strange was instrumental in extending Forge Christian's winning streak to seven on Friday. Strange was dynamite, throwing for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes.
On the season, Strange has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 163 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 22.86 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 49.71 rushing yards.
