Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Bulloch Academy Gators walked away with it. They walked away with  a   72-60  win over the Wildcats  on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 Bulloch Academy's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Ashantay Noble, who  scored 26 points along with seven  rebounds and six  assists. That makes it nine consecutive games in which  Noble has scored at least a third of Bulloch Academy's points.  Kaley Cardell was another key contributor,  scoring 21 points along with two  steals.
 Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Jaliyah Terry, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and 14  rebounds. Terry is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's  now  scored 18 or more in the last six games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aimee Spurlock, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and nine  rebounds.
 Bulloch Academy has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 15 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record  this season. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, their loss dropped their record down to 19-5.
 Bulloch Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Westfield School at 6:00  p.m.  on February 23rd. Hopefully Bulloch Academy focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up nine on Friday. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match, a  70-44  victory vs. Tiftarea Academy on the 20th.
