Patrick Henry's win bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Ayersville, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's matchup: Patrick Henry has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 10.7 aces per game. However, it's not like Ayersville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Patrick Henry was able to grind out a solid victory over Ayersville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
