Valley suffered their closest  loss since December 18, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Panguitch Bobcats by a score of  50-47. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  59-49  back in January.
 Panguitch's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Maddix Johnson led the charge by  putting up 19  points and seven  boards. That's the most  rebounds  Johnson has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Remme Chappell, who  scored eight points and 12  boards.
The  defeat was their first  on the road , dropping their record down to 14-5. As for Panguitch, they pushed their record up to 20-3 with the  win, which was their 17th straight  at home dating back to last season.
As of now, neither Valley nor Panguitch have any future games scheduled.
