Morrison will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Crescent at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Morrison, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Morrison had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Kiefer last Friday as they made off with a 39-6 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Morrison had established a 32-6 advantage.
Meanwhile, Crescent took care of business in their home opener. They captured a comfortable 39-20 victory over Woodland.
Their wins bumped Crescent to 1-0 and Morrison to 1-0. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
