St. Mary will head out on the road to face off against the Griffin School Griffins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Mary's comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Two weeks ago, St. Mary's had to suffer through a rough 60-21 loss at the hands of Sterling Classical. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. Mary's has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, St. Mary's had strong showings from Tyler Zimmerhanzel, who scored ten points, and Gage Garsee, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Griffin School, who are still winless after their 11th contest. They took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Austin Peace Academy on Tuesday.
St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Griffin School, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
