 On the hitting side,  Natalie Kelley was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Emma Lomker, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases.
 Gwynedd Mercy Academy's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Harry S. Truman, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
