Soccer Game Preview: South Dade vs. Central

South Dade has gone a perfect 3-0 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Buccaneers will look to defend their home pitch against the Rockets at 3:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Dade has five straight victories, Central has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

South Dade's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Reagan with a sharp 3-0 win.

South Dade hit the Bison with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jerry Marjolains, Damien Lucero, and Ivan Maldonado.

Meanwhile, Central fell victim to Jackson and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Generals, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 544th, while Jackson are ranked 143rd).

South Dade's victory bumped their record up to 12-1-4. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9-4.

Everything went South Dade's way against Central when the teams last played back in November of 2025, as South Dade made off with a 4-0 win. Do the Buccaneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rockets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
