The Mountain Ridge Sentinels will be taking part in a tournament against the Bishop Amat Lancers  at 10:00  a.m.  on Wednesday. Mountain Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1  runs per game  this season.
Mountain Ridge's tournament run continued when they took on Etiwanda  on Tuesday. The Sentinels came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past  5-3.
  Stockton Fowlks was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Ethan Iacono was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double.
Meanwhile, while Bishop Amat put up some  runs on Tuesday, the same  can't be said for Yorba Linda. The Lancers came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of  5-0.
Not much got past  Gavyn Alfaro, who gave up just  three  hits to keep Yorba Linda off the board. Alfaro has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Omar Arretche, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run and three  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jacob Campos, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Mountain Ridge's record is now 6-2. As for Bishop Amat, their record now sits at 13-3.
