The Skyline Prep Bengals put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Jones-Gordon, posting a 61-26 victory at home. Skyline Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 27 points or more this season.
Skyline Prep found their leader in underclassman Zaire Reed-Hatter, who dropped a double-double on 36 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zoey Reed-Hatter, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Skyline Prep pushed their record up to 9-0 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for Jones-Gordon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyline Prep will take on James Madison Preparatory School at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jones-Gordon, they will head out on the road to take on Paradise Valley Christian Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
