Skyview waltzed into their game on Friday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They never let the Puyallup Vikings get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Storm, who have now won 18 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
Maddie Milhorn was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 19 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3.
In other pitching news, Peyton Powers looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she posted two strikeouts, the most she's had since back in May of 2024.
Back at the plate, Addy Harmier was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Kauffman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.
Skyview hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in 16 consecutive matchups.
Skyview pushed their record up to 20-1 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Puyallup, they moved to 14-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Skyview nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
