Basketball Recap: Martins Mill Extends Road Winning Streak to 12

Frankston typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Martins Mill proved too difficult a challenge. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Frankston Indians 84-48. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Martins Mill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jak Kinder, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 17 points. Kinder's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Archer Schneider, who went 8 for 14 en route to 24 points.

Martins Mill pushed their record up to 23-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.4 points per game. As for Frankston, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-9.

Martins Mill and Frankston should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Martins Mill (ranked 86th) will meet Cayuga (ranked 1012th) at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Martins Mill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 72.3 points per game this season.
