The Medicine Lodge Indians had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They managed a 12-8 win over Inman. For Medicine Lodge, this counts as revenge for the 58-6 defeat Inman walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.

When it comes to explaining why Inman lost, one person who can't be blamed is Talon Welch. Despite the final result, he rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Welch was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.
Medicine Lodge's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Inman, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-6.
Medicine Lodge will be playing at home against Oakley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Inman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
