The Silverton Owls will be playing at home against the White Deer Bucks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Silverton lost to the Patriots at home by a decisive 48-29 margin. It was the first time this season that Silverton let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 61 points the game before, White Deer were a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 62-22 defeat at the hands of Valley. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points White Deer has scored all season.
Silverton's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5. As for White Deer, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-13.
Silverton strolled past the Bucks when the teams last played back in January by a score of 55-39. Will Silverton repeat their success, or do the Bucks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
