Roosevelt were able to grind out a solid victory over Sunnyside on Friday, winning 28-16. The success made it back-to-back wins for Roosevelt. The game pushed Sunnyside down to 2-7 and pulled Roosevelt up to the reverse at 7-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Roosevelt will take on Fresno at 7:30 PM. Fresno are cruising in on a five-game winning streak. As for Sunnyside, they will face off against Reedley. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
