The Arroyo Dons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hayward Farmers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arroyo has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
On Wednesday, Arroyo came up short against Tennyson and fell 62-52.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hayward beat San Lorenzo 55-49 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Hayward.
It was another big night for Quincy Lavender, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 17 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Jaydon Bonds, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Arroyo bumped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Hayward, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
Arroyo came up short against Hayward in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 61-55. Can Arroyo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
