Highland Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 34-0 loss at the hands of the East Gaston Warriors. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Gaston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chris Leavy, who rushed for 121 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Warriors also got a significant boost from Mari Chambers, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.
Highland Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for East Gaston, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.
