In what's become a running theme this season, the Trinity Christian Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They blew past Mesa Verde 70-41 at home. With Trinity Christian ahead 43-18 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Mesa Verde's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mathew Garcia, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Will Dickinson, who scored nine points.
Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Mesa Verde, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21.
Trinity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mesa Verde and the Capitals will face off at 7:15 p.m. on February 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sacramento Adventist is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
