The Heartland Christian Academy Eagles will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Lighthouse Prep Academy Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Heartland Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Heartland Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Heritage Academy 76-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Heartland Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rylee Kiser led the charge by scoring 21 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Bock, who scored 17 points.
Meanwhile, Lighthouse Prep Academy's game last Friday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 47-42 win over Heritage Academy. The victory was just what Lighthouse Prep Academy needed coming off of a 47-25 defeat in their prior contest.
Jordan Little and Alajun Proctor were among the main playmakers for Lighthouse Prep Academy as the former scored 12 points and the latter scored 13 points. Grant King was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Heartland Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Lighthouse Prep Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.
Heartland Christian Academy strolled past the Eagles when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 77-63. Will Heartland Christian Academy repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
