Milwaukee Marshall pushed their score all the way to 69 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Milwaukee Bradley Tech at home by a decisive 88-69 margin. While losing is never fun, Milwaukee Marshall can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 364th, while Milwaukee Bradley Tech is ranked 139th).
Meanwhile, the third road match was the charm for Milwaukee King, as they earned their first road win of the season. They managed a 41-37 win over North on Tuesday. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Milwaukee King has scored all season.
Milwaukee Marshall has fallen quite a ways from their 12-6 record last season and are now at 0-5. As for Milwaukee King, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Milwaukee Marshall was taken down by Milwaukee King 89-53 when the teams last played back in January of 2020. Can Milwaukee Marshall avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
