After a string of five wins, The Manual Thunderbolts''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were outmatched by Highland on the road and fell 54-6. Manual was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Highland apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Highland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Issac Desantiago, who rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also caught a touchdown. Jakey Wares was in the mix as well, providing Highland with two touchdowns.
Manual now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Highland, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Manual does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Highland will head out on the road to face off against Meeker at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
