With one week left in the high school baseball season, very few changes took place in the MaxPreps Regional Computer Baseball Rankings, except for the Northeast and the Midwest regions.
The Northeast has a new No. 1 team after Victor defeated Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, N.Y.) for the Class AA state title. Victor was previously unranked.
In the Midwest, Providence Catholic's upset win in the Illinois Class 4A state championship game did not dislodge St. Rita from the No. 1 spot, but it did put Providence Catholic into the rankings. It was one of five new teams, including Michigan Division I state champion Bay City Western (Auburn, Mich.) and Pennsylvania Class 4A state champion La Salle College (Wyndmoor, Pa.).
