Quincy Notre Dame can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They breezed by Barry Western at home to the tune of 77-40. While fans of Quincy Notre Dame might be used to big wins, the 37-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Meanwhile, Madison was able to grind out a solid win over the Bulldogs on Wednesday, taking the game 50-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Madison.
The victory was the third in a row for Quincy Notre Dame, bringing their record for this year to 12-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Madison, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-8.
Things could have been worse for Quincy Notre Dame, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 72-53 loss to the Trojans in their previous matchup back in February of 2015. Can Quincy Notre Dame avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
