After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palmview, Lopez was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 42-0 victory over the Grulla Gators. The Lobos' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Lopez found their leader in sophomore Angel Moreno, who threw for 173 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 passes. Bogney Thaddeus also helped with two scores in total.
