The Jefferson Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 41-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lennard. Jefferson was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lennard apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2020.
Kyah Vance continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lennard, scoring 22 points along with six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Kimora Davis, who scored three points along with six rebounds.
Jefferson bumped their record down to 2-7 with that loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.8 points per game. As for Lennard, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson and Sickles will face off at 8:00 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sickles presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jefferson in Florida (Sickles is ranked 108th, while Jefferson is ranked 504th). Lennard and East Bay will face off at 8:00 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. East Bay is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
