Elgin/Pope John won the last time they faced Creighton and  Gentry Zwingman did her part to make sure it happened again. The Wolfpack were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Bulldogs on Monday for which the team can thank  Zwingman, who  had 22  digs. She has been hot, having  posted 15 or more  digs the last six times she's  played.
 Elgin/Pope John never let Creighton on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-14,  25-16.
 Bloomfield hadn't beaten Plainview on the road since September 28, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them  on Monday. The Bees narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Pirates  3-2.
 Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Elgin/Pope John, their win bumped their record up to 20-10.
