The Trimble Tomcats will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Paint Valley Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Paint Valley took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Trimble, who comes in off a win.
Even though Waterford scored an imposing 62 points on Friday, Trimble still came out on top. Trimble snuck past Waterford with a 67-62 victory.
Meanwhile, Paint Valley's 17-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 61-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Piketon last Tuesday. Paint Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Trimble's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Paint Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Trimble was able to grind out a solid victory over Paint Valley in their previous meeting back in March of 2015, winning 66-55. Will Trimble repeat their success, or does Paint Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
