Jimtown is a perfect 10-0 against Glenn since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Jimmies will face off against the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. Jimtown is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
Jimtown had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 20-run drubbing they dealt LaVille on Tuesday. The Jimmies put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 23-3 victory. The Jimmies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Lilly Gaugler and Kiyla Eberhart made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Gaugler tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Eberhart tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Gaugler has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Gaugler got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI, while Eberhart went 2-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. That's the most runs Eberhart has posted over her last seven contests.
In other batting news, Kendal McPhee and Abigail Williams did most of the damage at the plate: McPhee got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Williams went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most runs Williams has posted over her last three games. Skyler Pello was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Jimtown always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .775. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Glenn fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Bremen on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 5-4. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
McKenzie Timm spent all 8.2 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.
On the hitting side, Makinzie Kline made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Jimtown, their record is now 11-7.
Everything went Jimtown's way against Glenn when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Jimtown made off with a 13-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jimmies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
