The Crosspoint Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 36 points or more this season. They really took it to Grace Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-4 victory on the road. Crosspoint's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Crosspoint to victory were Halle Kuske and Riya Tobosa. Kuske scored 12 points along with six rebounds and six steals, while Tobosa scored 12 points along with five steals. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Katy Kuske, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Crosspoint, bringing their record for this year to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for Grace Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crosspoint won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mount Vernon Christian at 3:45 p.m. on December 29th. Grace Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lopez at 4:30 p.m. on January 11, 2024.
