Liberty was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Tonasket on Friday. The Lancers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Jordyn Jeske made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 21 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aubrey Hofmann, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024.
