Forest Hill is 1-9 against Wellington since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Forest Hill Falcons will challenge the Wellington Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. Forest Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Forest Hill had taken Royal Palm Beach down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. Forest Hill fell just short of Royal Palm Beach by a score of 3-2. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Yampiel Chavez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Blake Griffin also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Wellington was able to grind out a solid win over Winter Haven on Friday, taking the game 6-1.

Greysn Bogdanchik spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Thomas Lograsso, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor King, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Wellington kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Winter Haven only managed three hits.

Wellington is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. Forest Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Forest Hill couldn't quite get it done against Wellington in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 as they fell 6-2. Can Forest Hill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
