Softball Recap: Willamette Wins Going Away Against Clackamas

Willamette won the last time they faced Clackamas and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Willamette Wolverines blew past the Clackamas Cavaliers 11-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

Willamette let Macy Rush and Cabbi Eads run wild. Rush scored three runs and stole Six bases. while going 2-for-3, while Eads went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaylee Gilbert, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Willamette's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Willamette will venture away from home to square off against Springfield at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Clackamas, they will head out to face off against Eastmark at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
