Last Friday, Atmore Christian had to suffer through a rough 68-36 loss at the hands of Central Christian. Atmore Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-15.
Meanwhile, South Baldwin Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Friday. They escaped with a win against Gulf Pointe Latin by the margin of a single free throw, 50-49. The win was just what South Baldwin Christian Academy needed coming off of a 58-34 loss in their prior matchup.
Atmore Christian's loss was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.3 points per game. As for South Baldwin Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
