After flying high against Siena last Tuesday, The Living Water School The Storm came back down to earth. The Living Water School ended up on the wrong side of a tough 70-44 walloping at the hands of King's Christian Academy on Monday.
King's Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Diallo Long out in front who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Long hasn't dropped below 17 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Waller, who scored 21 points.
The Living Water School's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3. As for King's Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Living Water School will take on Barrie at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for King's Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Calverton at 5:30 p.m. Calverton has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
