Hanson Iii Made His Presence Known in Anchor Bay's 24-21 Loss
Starting off the list is Anchor Bay's Gerry Hanson Iii, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hanson Iii picked up 93 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Hanson Iii must have Chippewa Valley's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Hanson Iii picked up 232 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Big Reds duked it out back in September of 2023.

Dakota was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Brady Hamby did his best to prevent it. Hamby was dynamite, making four total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Dakota moved to 6-1 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak. Hamby and Dakota will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Big Game from Lafear As Anchor Bay Fell 24-21
Ryan Lafear put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes.
Chippewa Valley's probably not too fond of Lafear given he always seems to get the better of them. When Lafear last faced the Big Reds back in September of 2023, he threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt.

The second Dakota player making an appearance here is Di'Mari Malone, and for good reason. He made two total tackles.
