After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Narraguagus, Calais was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They walked away with  a   15-11  win over the Woodland Dragons. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the   17-0 victory the Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in May of 2024.

 Calais got a  massive  performance out of  Kayleigh Scott, who  went 3-for-5 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  five  RBI gave  Scott a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Alexis Bowen, who  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
Calais' first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Woodland,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calais will take on Machias at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Woodland, they will challenge Lee Academy at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
