The Dutch Fork Silver Foxes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 25 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 72-21 win over Palisades on the road. Winning may never get old, but Dutch Fork sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
It was another big night for Michaela Fairwell, who scored 19 points along with seven steals. The contest was her tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christyonna Jackson, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Palisades lost on Saturday, one person who can't be blamed is Tynilla Simpkins. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Simpkins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Palisades struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Dutch Fork racked up 16 assists.
