Tomball Kings can  bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  12-4 margin over the Buna Cougars. Considering the Homeschool have won four contests by more than seven  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Aj Rocha tossed a big game,   tossing six innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. What's more,  he posted two  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in February.
 At the plate,  Avery Bell was a standout: he scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 3-for-5. He has become a key player for Tomball Kings: the team is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  two  stolen bases, but 4-5-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Brennan Zarro, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Tomball Kings was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .407. They are 5-1 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The  victory  got Tomball Kings back to even at 6-6-1. As for Buna,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-4.
 Coming up, Tomball Kings will take on Little Cypress-Mauriceville in a tournament  on Saturday. As for Buna, they will be taking part in a tournament against Evadale  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Buna has given up an average of 7.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
