The Riverdale Cowboys lost against the Kings Christian Crusaders two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Riverdale was dealt a 79-31 loss at the hands of Kings Christian. Riverdale was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-13.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kings Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ronnie Roche, who scored 39 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The contest was Roche's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elyas Miro, who scored 21 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kings Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Alpaugh the next time they take the court. Kings Christian will host Alpaugh at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, while Riverdale will head out to face them at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.
