Those seven strikeouts gave Rotondo a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Katelyn Chatelle was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Lily Maggiacomo was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

St. Raphael Academy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games. As for Scituate, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. St. Raphael Academy hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Scituate struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
St. Raphael Academy came up short against Scituate in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, falling 10-7. Can the Saints avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
