The Woodmont Wildcats won the last time they faced the Hillcrest Rams, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Woodmont blew past Hillcrest 63-34 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Woodmont has managed all season.
It was another big night for Trinity Nesbitt, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Gabriel Stewart was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Hillcrest lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ashlyn Scott, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Scott has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Audrey Shuler, who scored eight points.
Woodmont's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Hillcrest, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing T.L. Hanna the next time they take the court. Hillcrest will head out to face T.L. Hanna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Woodmont will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
