The Walkerville Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Marion Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Michigan (Walkerville is ranked 649th, while Marion is ranked 660th).
Last Tuesday, Walkerville ended up a good deal behind Hesperia and lost 69-50. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Walkerville in their matchups with Hesperia: they've now lost four in a row.
Marion can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They slipped by Crossroads Charter Academy 35-34.
Walkerville now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Marion, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
Walkerville came out on top in a nail-biter against Marion when the teams last played back in December of 2023, sneaking past 38-35. Does Walkerville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Marion turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
