The St. Mark's Spartans' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Delcastle Technical Cougars on Thursday. The odds don't look promising for St. Mark's, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
St. Mark's suffered a grim 64-35 defeat to Salesianum this past Saturday. The Spartans were down 49-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Delcastle Technical strolled past Concord with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the contest 71-58.
Delcastle Technical's win lifted them to 12-4 while St. Mark's' loss dropped them down to 4-12. We'll see if Delcastle Technical can repeat their recent success or if St. Mark's bounces back and reverse their fortune.
