After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glenbard South, Ridgewood was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Streamwood Sabres with a sharp 23-5 win. With that victory, the Rebels brought their scoring average up to 7.4 runs per game.
Anabelle Mikrut made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. Mikrut was also solid in the batter's box, earning one RBI and two runs.
