After two weeks on the road, Bald Knob is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Riverview at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Bald Knob, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-42 punch to the gut against Heber Springs last Friday. The state rankings had actually given Bald Knob a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 42 points the game before, Riverview faltered in their contest last Friday. They were completely outmatched, falling 9-45 to Stuttgart. Riverview were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 3-32.
Bald Knob took a serious blow against Riverview the last time the two teams met, falling 13-49. Can Bald Knob avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
